Multiplexer is a kind of transportation stream re-multiplexer applied in digital Radio & Broadcasting TV system. It combines several single-program or multiple-programs which are selected by customers into single multiplexing transportation stream after the process of compressing, encoding and multiplexing. At the same time, it can insert kinds of information such as EPG (Electronic Program Guide), CA (Conditional Access) and data broadcasting into the output transportation streams. It supports 9 input ports, and the Max.Input bit rate is 216Mbps with two ASI outputs, output bit rate can reach 150Mbps. As for SI Table and other data which are generated by SI server can be inserted into output transportation stream in real time, thus, EPG and data broadcasting services can be provided in the system, and its rack is 1U.
